Felipe Sevilla, Spanish Ploughing Champion with OVLAC, will represent Spain at the World Championship in Croatia

At OVLAC, we have every reason to celebrate. Felipe Sevilla has been crowned Spanish champion in the reversible ploughing category at the 43rd National Ploughing Championship, held in Alcañiz on 11 and 12 April.

The farmer from San Martín de la Vega claimed victory competing with a John Deere tractor and an OVLAC plough, delivering an outstanding performance that took him to the top of the podium and secured his place as Spain’s representative at the upcoming World Ploughing Championship, to be held in Croatia on the first weekend of September.

A victory of both technical and symbolic significance

This achievement is especially significant for several reasons. On the one hand, it places Felipe Sevilla at the top of a discipline that demands precision, technique and a deep understanding of soil working. On the other, it is a source of great pride for OVLAC as the manufacturer of the winning plough in one of the most important competitions on the national calendar.

The final classification confirmed Felipe Sevilla as the winner in the reversible plough category, with 160.50 points, ahead of the second-placed competitor in that class.
