The CBECyL (Cluster of Capital Goods of Castilla y León) has selected one of our engineers as an ambassador.
The chosen individual is Jeremías Méndez, Chief Welding Engineer at Ovlac. His profile exemplifies dedication and passion for a profession tied to welding. He began by pursuing a vocational training degree in welding and boilermaking, followed by another in metal constructions in La Robla. Thanks to his outstanding academic record, he advanced to university, studying mechanical engineering at the University of León and later specializing with a master’s degree.
He started his career in Madrid but decided to return to Castilla y León for a better quality of life. Since then, he has worked at Ovlac for five years, managing the welding department, overseeing the industrialization of new components with welding robots, and designing tooling.
We are a family business based in Venta de Baños (Palencia), dedicated to designing and manufacturing agricultural machinery. Currently in our third generation, we are the largest Spanish manufacturer of soil-working machinery.
